Since graduate school, Stephen G. Dent’s professional career has been focused exclusively on finance and investment projects. The areas of finance, acquisitions, and investments have attracted particular interest since 1982.
Three years of his career were spent working with PricewaterhouseCoopers. He later became a part of the Mergers and Acquisitions Department at a well-respected firm called Morgan Stanley Dean Witter & Company. Rosenkranz & Company is where he landed next, this was a private investment partnership that managed acquisitions for their own accounts. He left Rosenkranz & Company in 1986 to found DCI.
Dent Inc. is a successful investment banking firm that is headquartered, like so may other financial firms, in Connecticut—specifically in Greenwich, CT. Stephen Dent is the President of Dent Inc. and is in charge of overseeing all investment activity for the company.
Stephen G. Dent received both his BA and MBA from Harvard University. He is also a licensed CPA. When Stephen is not working, he will often spend time on his favorite hobby, marine life, a passion of his since boyhood.
